To remove the magazine pressthe magazine release button,located near the trigger guard,with your thumb.1The Taurus 800 Series pistols havean ambidextrous magazinerelease, it can be activated by leftor right hand.22. Hold the magazine with one ofyour hands and with the other oneinsert the cartridges one at a time,pressing them down and to therear. Insert the magazine into thepistol until it is held by themagazine catch. If the magazineis not correctly inserted into thepistol, it can be dropped when youintend to shoot.33. Hold the pistol with one handkeeping your finger away from thetrigger. With the other hand pull theslide to its limit and release it, soslide will go forward under recoilspring pressure and will insert onecartridge in the chamber.22ALWAYS KEEP THE MUZZLE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTIONAND FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER.
