EHC Radia<strong>to</strong>rs can be controlled by anumber of different options dependent onthe <strong>in</strong>stallation circumstances.They can be<strong>in</strong>stalled as st<strong>and</strong> alone heaters or as acontrollable central heat<strong>in</strong>g system us<strong>in</strong>geither manual or radio frequency controls.The various options are follows:Control OptionsTEI1 – All st<strong>and</strong>ard radia<strong>to</strong>rs are suppliedwith an <strong>in</strong> - TEI1 thermostat.This method ofcontrol is ideal for st<strong>and</strong> alone heat<strong>in</strong>grequirements.EHC Control Box – This method ofcontrol is also suitable for st<strong>and</strong>ard modelsw<strong>here</strong> multiple radia<strong>to</strong>rs are required.In addition <strong>to</strong> the Control Box you will alsorequire S<strong>in</strong>gle Channel Heat Pack (seeschematic on opposite page).TEI6 – The radio frequency radia<strong>to</strong>rs havebeen designed <strong>to</strong> operate as st<strong>and</strong> alone ormultiple radia<strong>to</strong>r systems us<strong>in</strong>g this RFProgrammer/ Thermostat.Each st<strong>and</strong>ard radia<strong>to</strong>r has a TEI 1thermostat fitted which regulates thetemperature <strong>in</strong> each roomEach radio frequencycontrolled radia<strong>to</strong>r has a TEI 5receiver fitted as st<strong>and</strong>ard(<strong>Please</strong> note that the EHC Control Box <strong>and</strong>TEI6 method of control complies with thelatest Build<strong>in</strong>g Regulations <strong>and</strong> 17th edition)12
