When Iwas younger I’d forget to mix the oil with thefuel and within half an hour something would stop.This isn’t something I’d admit to my mechanics,they’d laugh if I told them all of the stories. But thatwas ten years ago and since then I’ve got a bitbetter on the engineering side!Although I love speed the one thing I’venever got over is my fear of flying. Seriously,I hate it. When you sit in a plane you can feel everysmall movement. When it’s me I feel all these thingshappening, every change of angle or pitch and I wantto be more in control. That’s where the fear comes from– not being in control.When I’m racing though I am in control so it doesn’tmatter how fast I am going, it is always great.
