AMSA Goals and Mission Brown Pre-med AMSA is a student-governed, nationalorganization. Our goals center around three mainobjectives: Providing Brown students with the tools, resources,opportunities, and publications needed to succeed in theirchosen pre-health professions Encouraging interaction between students and faculty in aneffort to create a thriving medical community Raising awareness of issues of broader significance regardingglobal health and health disparities, preventive medicine, andlocal health concerns

Past Events Health Care Debate – featured Vincent Mor andMichael Fine in the Community Health Department Variety Show – featured various Brown performancegroups to raise money for the Rhode Island Free Clinic Meet the Med Student Speaker Series (alternative medicine, preventivemedicine, etc.) Auctions for Kaplan MCAT courses
