“Pacific Northwest Fantasyland Maple Adventure”
Oct 19-21 Seattle, WA and Oregon Post Tour Oct 22-24
The 2012 Conference will be in Seattle, WA on Oct. 19 – Oct 21 at the Courtyard by Marriott
Seattle SeaTac. It will be hard to match the previous wonderful meetings organized by past president
Sharon Nelson but Frank Byles and I are determined to make this another great maple event. Frank has
secured very reasonable room rates in a great location, and the food will be excellent and affordable.
This conference features some of the most knowledgeable maple growers and collectors in the world,
eight amazing gardens with amazing fall colors, and in sizes you will find hard to believe. Many original
cultivars and mature species will be found along with many surprises. There will also be a silent auction
of rare maples and artifacts. The beautiful Cascade Mountains have native A. circinatum and A.
macrophyllum but we will also ferry over to Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island to complete your
experience of maples like you’ve never seen them before. You’re sure to be surrounded by thousands
of maples in blinding colors to sweep you into a Fantasyland Maple Adventure. So if you love maples
