Plan of management for Westport Park - Land - NSW Government

Katrina Hodgkinson has directed that Crown Lands work with the Council andstakeholder groups, including the Foreshore Lands Advisory Group (FLAG), tocomplete a draft plan of management that identifies the key community objectives forthe management of Westport Park as public open space.Ms Hodgkinson also announced a representative of the Foreshore ProtectionAssociation would be on FLAG, ensuring input on behalf of the whole community."The draft plan of management will then be made available to the community of PortMacquarie for comment and feedback," Ms Hodgkinson said."When the consultation is completed and the plan is finally adjusted to reflectcommunity feedback, the plan can be formally adopted and it will become the statutoryframework that will bind the future management and operations of Westport Park."Westport Park draft Plan of Management I Page 46
