75 th Anniversary<br />
The year 2011 bears a great significance for Česká zbrojovka<br />
– this company will celebrate 75 years of its existence, which ranks<br />
this manufacturer among the most important and long established<br />
Czech companies.<br />
The company was founded<br />
in 1936 starting with production of<br />
a combined assortment of military<br />
and civilian firearms. The first<br />
products were anti-aircraft<br />
machine guns, military pistols and<br />
smallbore <strong>rifles</strong>. The current line of<br />
Česká zbrojovka products includes<br />
sporting and hunting firearms as<br />
well as duty weapons for armed<br />
forces, police and other armed<br />
units. Common features of all<br />
firearms manufactured by Česká<br />
zbrojovka are their high quality<br />
standard, long-term reliability and<br />
accuracy.<br />
Česká zbrojovka is today rated as<br />
one of the world’s biggest<br />
producers of firearms. More than<br />

At the 75 th anniversary of the<br />
company’s establishment Česká<br />
zbrojovka will in 2011<br />
commemorate this event with<br />
a special anniversary edition of<br />
the CZ 75 pistol. These pistols will<br />
be copies of the legendary CZ<br />
75 model designed in 1970s. The<br />
upcoming retro version of the CZ<br />
75 pistol will not be presented only<br />
as an worldwide legend “dust-off”,<br />
but also as a symbol of Česká<br />
zbrojovka successful production<br />
that has been carried throughout<br />
the entire history of the company.
