Fellow recognition with two Sapphire Pins
presented by District 9630 Governor Errol
Wildman on behalf of all seven Rotary
clubs in Toowoomba, for her commitment
to “helping people in need here and around
the world”.
Past President Keith Kimpton, of the
Rotary Club of Frankston, Vic, for 26 years
of outstanding service to Rotary and for
his contribution to club fellowship and his
involvement in many leadership roles within
the Club.
Rotarian Dr Morgan J Williams of the

10 years as the Parliamentary Commissioner
for the Environment, promoting legislation
and policies that have provided a positive

Group Study Exchange.

Four Avenues of Service
Past President John Somerville, of the
Rotary Club of Milford, NZ, who has served
as a Board Director in the Fellowship,
International Youth and Vocational areas,
as an Assistant District Governor, and for
10 years on the District World Community
Services Committee. John has also been
named previously as a District Rotarian of
the Year. ■
Other Awards
Gregory McIntyre, of the Rotary Club of
Blacktown City, NSW, awarded the Medal of
the Order of Australia for service to people
with disabilities and to public education
through the Technical and Further
Education sector.
Esther Roadnight, of the Rotary Club
of Hannans-Kalgoorlie, WA, for services to
the community of Kalgoorlie and region,
particularly through a range of social,
business, youth, tourism and cultural
organisations, and to local government.
President Bruce Graham, of the Rotary
Club of Takapuna, NZ, was inducted into
the Order of St John for services to Youth
and to the St John Ambulance. ■
Blacktown City, NSW, a member for 35 years
before resigning due to ill health in December,
after which the Board awarded him honorary
Membership. Gunther served as a Club
Director on several occasions and was
honoured with a Paul Harris Fellowship
Recognition in 1993.
Past President Stan Spencely, of the
Rotary Club of Eaglehawk, Vic. Paul
Harris Fellow (Sapphire Pin). A dedicated
Rotarian for over 27 years. A generous man
