Koala’s @ Kinder by Helen HeddingANYONE FOR TEA?The children were enthusiastic andconfident as they shared the morningtea, that they had prepared with theirmothers/carers and friends. The childrenhave been active in preparing specialparcels for their Mother’s, that show theirskill levels, creative flare and concepts ofwho their Mum is or what she does. Theirthoughts/gifts were all very individual.Mummy cooks all the time! MyMum goes to work. She likes coffee.My Mum has long legs. Mum readslots of stories. She likes to smile. MyMum is happy. Mummy is only myMum not yours too!On the day of the Mother’s Tea Party,I was proud to see the way thechildren responded with confidence andenthusiasm. They cooked, prepared theroom and then cleaned and set tablesprior to the Mums all arriving. We havesome potential musical artists in thegroup. It was a great turn out and over tosoon.The celebration was overall a great time asa community of sharing humor, happinessand satisfaction for the children, parentsand Staff.We truly hope you had a veryHappy Mother’s Day!15
