Workbench SilencersOIL FILTER #4This is essentially the same design as shown on page 33. Note,however, that the oil filter is tightly clamped in<strong>to</strong> the adapter. Forextra strength, it can be glued in prior <strong>to</strong> clamping. Also, althoughit is not visible, the end of the oil filter has a hole punched in itscenter. Try filling the filter with water and draining it <strong>to</strong> wet filterelement inside. This might help cool the muzzle blast gases anddampen the noise even more.52
