ADJUSTABLE MULTI-BEAM SPLITTER and FIBER COUPLER 10 (AMBS/FC-2)
Valyn V.I.P.’s unique Adjustable Multi-Beam Splitter and Fiber Coupler (AMBS/FC-2) splits a laser beam
into several optical fibers for use in VISAR instrumentation, or for other purposes. Its features include:
% Modular Construction - Allows addition or
deletion of Splitter Modules to attain the number
of output fibers desired. More modules can be
purchased as more outputs are needed.
% Splitting Ratio - Easily variable for each output
fiber without wasting light.
% Input Powers - Up to 10 W continuous
How it Works — The AMBS consists of disks, or
modules, each of which has an output optical
fiber carrying the split-off light. To attain the
desired split, the entire module is rotated about the
laser beam axis. The user has complete control of the
amount of light split off by each module.
DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIERS
DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIERS for VISARs are
available at Valyn V.I.P. These amplifiers are
very robust, and are ideal for use with Push-Pull
VISARs.
They come in the same configuration as before
(except slightly thicker), and use the same supply
voltages (± 15 VDC), as the older Comlinear
Differential Amplifiers formerly used in most
VISARs.

% Each Splitter Module - Splits off desired
amount of light, and also captures it into a multimode
fiber, eliminating the need for separate fiber
optic laser couplers.
