H - Conservation Area ConsentT - Trees in Conservation AreaC - County Council ConsultationHS - Hazardous Substances ConsentEach application <strong>contains</strong> a handling designation (Com) or (Del). <strong>This</strong> indicates whether theapplication is to be reported to Planning Committee (Com) or dealt with under delegated powers(Del) by Rother Planning. All decisions on applications made by the Head of Planning underdelegated authority are reported on the Planning website (www.planning.rother.gov.uk).<strong>WEEKLY</strong> <strong>LIST</strong> - NOTIFICATIONSThe Council also receives notifications of certain works and operations which may be carried outwithout the need for planning permission. These notifications are included on the weekly <strong>list</strong> and onthe planning website.The Head of Planning has delegated authority to determine whether to require the submission of anapplication for the approval of further details. Because of the limited time available to respond tosuchnotifications, they are included on the weekly <strong>list</strong> and on the planning website for information only.Types of Notification:FN - Prior notification relating to the siting, design and external appearance of agricultural orforestry buildings and/or the siting and means of construction of private ways and/or thesiting and appearance of a tank in any waters and/or the siting of an excavation or depositof waste on agricultural land exceeding 0.5 hectare.DN - Demolition of notification relating to certain buildings mainly dwelling houses and buildingsadjoining dwelling houses.TN - Telecommunications Notification relating to installation of equipment/masts.Telecommunication Notices, required by the General Development Order, now give LocalAuthorities 56 days for consultation. Such Notices are publicised in the same way as all otherplanning applications. Where a lesser period applies a note after the TN entry on the weekly <strong>list</strong> willindicate the limited opportunity to comment.Hedgerow Removal Notice. <strong>This</strong> is a different procedure from other notifications. It relates tothe intended removal of a hedgerow. The Local Planning Authority will decide, followingconsultation with the Parish Council, whether a Hedgerow Retention Notice should be served.Page 2 of 7
