<strong>Wolf</strong> <strong>ATEX</strong> <strong>Safety</strong> <strong>Torch</strong> <strong>with</strong><strong>LED</strong> gives reliable, simple, costeffective, high output <strong>LED</strong>performance in a straight orright-angle body style.The TR-30+ and TS-30+ torches,incorporating the <strong>Wolf</strong> TP-300 ‘<strong>Torch</strong><strong>LED</strong> Module’, give an exceptionaloutput of up to four times more lightthan an incandescent torch bulb,generating a piercing white spotbeam combined <strong>with</strong> a wide angleflood of fringe light, for excellentvisibility in conditions of darknessor reduced visibility.With a typical life of over 25,000hours, the TP-300 <strong>LED</strong> is expectedto last the product lifetime,minimising product maintenance andeliminating risk of light source failure.Additionally the highly efficient <strong>LED</strong>technology gives an increasedbattery duration of up to 27 hoursfrom a set of two alkaline ‘D’ cells,more than twice the duration froma conventional safety torch usingthe same cells.The TP-300 <strong>LED</strong> moduleincorporates a low battery indicator,emitting a flashing red <strong>LED</strong> signal toshow good battery power andcorrect torch function, changing to astatic red <strong>LED</strong> signal to warn of ’lowbattery’ power. After several hours inthe ‘low battery’ phase, the light willcut out.The <strong>Wolf</strong> <strong>ATEX</strong> <strong>Torch</strong> range is CEmarked compliant <strong>with</strong> the 94/9/EC<strong>ATEX</strong> Explosive AtmospheresEquipment Directive. Certificationto the latest standard is for use inpotentially explosive gas, vapour andmist atmospheres, zones 1 and 2,temperature class T4. Dust ignitionprotection covers use in zones 21and 22, <strong>with</strong> the certified maximumsurface temperature of 95°C.Temperature ambient of use is from-20°C to a maximum of +40°C or55°C <strong>with</strong> certain cells as specifiedin the instructions. Both models arealso certified to the IECEx Scheme,where temperature ambient is-20°C to +40°C.The compact <strong>Wolf</strong> TS-30+ andTR-30+ <strong>Torch</strong> bodies, in straight orright-angle forms, have an enhancedergonomic design for easy grip andsingle handed switching, even <strong>with</strong>gloved hands. The torch bodies offerhigh strength and proven impactresistance, even at sub zerotemperatures, using carefully selectedthermoplastic resins <strong>with</strong> excellentchemical resistance. Additionally, therubber armoured lens ring and endcap give enhanced grip and shockprotection. The shatterproofpolycarbonate lens has a scratchand chemical resistant coating.<strong>Wolf</strong> <strong>ATEX</strong> <strong>Torch</strong>es are sealed dusttight and protected from waterimmersion <strong>with</strong> a certified IP67enclosure. The right angle modelincorporates a replaceable highstrength thermoplastic belt clip forhands-free use.
