Get Connected – Build your Business and Network Every year the Chamber hosts the best business events in the city! We pride ourselves on planning events that allow our members the opportunity to gain new business knowledge while making valuable connections across the community. With over 100 events annually, the Chamber offers a wide range of events that are sure to suit the needs of every member. Smaller, non-traditional networking events such as Networking@Noon or the 7:15 Club give members the chance to make invaluable connections with other members while discussing important issues. The Chamber’s signature events, the Distinguished Speakers Series, Spring and Fall Dinners and the Halifax Business Awards, provide members with the opportunity to hear from and recognize leaders in our political and business communities. Event Descriptions Member Services Events Member Services events gives Chamber members the opportunity to showcase your business, services, connect with other Chamber members, potential customers and suppliers from various businesses throughout Halifax. With a variety of exciting, imaginative and interactive events such as Commerce Connections, Networking @ Noon, 7:15 Club, Business After Hours and Business Backgrounders, these events provides our members with a chance to socialize, take part in demonstrations or activities all the while pursuing valuable business leads. Distinguished Speakers Series The Distinguished Speakers Series features informative and thought-provoking breakfast or luncheon presentations by business, government and institutional speakers on regional affairs and economic development. Federal and provincial ministers, chief executive officers of leading Canadian corporations, and influential thinkers keep Chamber members up-to-date on topical events and issues affecting the business community. Member-to-Member (M2M) The Halifax Chamber of Commerce’s Member-to-Member (M2M) events are meant to provide an opportunity for a member organization to present valuable information on topics of interest to other Chamber members. As a presenter, this is your chance to promote your business, network and establish new relationships with your audience. Chamber Continuing Education The Halifax Chamber of Commerce Chamber Continuing Education is a series of professional development sessions taught by our members for our members. Participants can gain real world experience from leaders in the field on topics ranging from leadership to marketing for small business. New Member Night The Halifax Chamber of Commerce New Member Night is an opportunity for new members to be introduced to the Chamber, its staff and benefit providers. Our goal is to provide a relaxing and inviting atmosphere in which new members can network and learn more about their membership. B2B Expo Where small business comes to shop! The Chamber's B2B Expo is Metro's largest business-to-business networking event. This is your opportunity to directly market your products to over 600 attendees. Annual Stronger Together Golf Tournament Bring the whole office regardless of experience and expertise, and celebrate being stronger together at this must-attend event. The Stronger Together Golf

Annual Fall and Spring Dinners Annual Fall and Spring Dinners are the two largest events for the Chamber. Held each year at the Trade Centre Ltd, this dinner includes a keynote speaker and is your ideal opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members, business leaders and political players. Halifax Business Awards The Metro Halifax Business Awards, launched in 2000, is the Chamber’s most glamorous event of the season. The Business Awards recognizes risk takers and the success of our thriving business community.
