This cable also supports frequencies of 100 MHz and it is backwardcompatiblewith CAT50.CAT60 cable contains four pairs of copper wire like the CAT50 but unlike the CAT50 it uses all fourpairs and supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps), frequencies up to 400 MHz and also supportscommunications at more than twice the speed of a CAT50 cable.
