Reminder ‘Calling all Cyclists’<br />

We are gathering information on where people cycle within<br />

the Regional Park and what developments you would like to<br />

see in the future. What ever type of cycling you do or don’t do<br />

(!), on road, off road, on your own, with your family we’d like<br />

to hear from you. Please get in contact preferably by email to<br />

routes@clydemuirshiel.co.uk. Thanks to those that have been<br />

in contact, your input is most appreciated.<br />

“Art in the Park 2011”<br />

<strong>Lochwinnoch</strong> Art Group Exhibition Opens at<br />

Castle Semple<br />

This year’s productions of traditional and contemporary<br />

works in oils, pencils and pastels are in a variety of styles<br />

such as landscapes, still life, realism and abstract. Art Group<br />

membership as well as the number of paintings in this<br />

exhibition has increased since last year, this gives a wide<br />

range of interest for everyone.<br />

Charles Woodward the Regional Park Manager said “This is a<br />

fantastic opportunity for local artists to display, and sell, their<br />

works to the public. Clyde Muirshiel Park Authority are<br />

delighted to once again host the annual <strong>Lochwinnoch</strong> Art<br />

Group Exhibition and hope to do so for many more years to<br />

come”.<br />

This exhibition of more than sixty painting by fifteen<br />

different artists will be on show each day in the Visitor Centre<br />

until Tuesday 8 February. Entry is FREE. All the works are<br />

original and available for purchase and collection at the end of<br />

the exhibition.<br />
