As with themergers and acquisition series, the US and Europe account for the vast proportionof holdings in the UK. The BRIC economies (Brazil, Russia, India and China) heldless than 0.5% between them. This indicates the extent to which this aspectof internationalisation impinges on particular sectors in the UK innovationsystem.
