And thisyear we’re revelling in our theme,100% Darwin.The opening weekend of theFestival celebrates our people andplace with a truly massive show ofthe same name, 100% Darwin. Join us nearly everynight from 7-24 August and see this area of thecity transformed with music, visual art, dance,theatre and lively discussion. We have a greatrange of delicious options for grabbing a bite toeat, so drop in for free live music at the Pendopoprogrammed with Music NT.Everyone’s favourite tropical big top, TheLighthouse, will take pride of place at FestivalPark hosting laugh-out-loud comedy faves,outrageous cabaret and circus antics, the brighteststars of the contemporary music scene andmusical theatre Territory-style. Late at nightThe Lighthouse becomes the place to hang outand get down at the Festival Club. Sing along, getin the dance groove or chill out with friends untilthe wee small hours.Brown’s Mart Theatre is a haven for theatre anddance, and local hang-out Happy Yess is home toedgy comedy and music that’s so hot right now.Fascinating behind the scenes discussions can befound at NT Library and the Festival action extendsto Town Hall Ruins.Across town in George’s Green at George BrownBotanic Gardens, The Amphitheatre is the placefor legendary big music spectacles, as well aslarge-scale theatrical experiences.
