IntroductionMy father is an Ayurvedic RMP(Registered Medical Practitioner), yetpractices Allopathic system for hislivelihood. Though he was not trained inAstrology, he was attracted to the sciencesince his childhood, while he was learningAyurveda from his Guru in traditionalGurukula system, where he used to live inhis Guru’s house, doing daily chores in thehouse. His Guru was a traditional VaidyaVidvan and initiated my father into dailyPuja, Bhagavadgita etc, which my fatherfollows till the date. My father does theGita Parayana Yagna and gives thediscourses on Gita during Karthika monthand conducts Gita Jayanti celebrationsevery year for the last three decades.
