BiannualBURKEJANE AUSTEN SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE GRANTIn conjunction with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Alberta and HenryBurke Collection, <strong>Goucher</strong> <strong>College</strong> invites scholars to apply for the biannual BurkeJane Austen Scholar-in-Residence Grant. Th<strong>is</strong> five-day residency offers scholars theopportunity to use the materials in the Burke Collection in the Rare Book Room ofthe Julia Rogers Library at <strong>Goucher</strong> <strong>College</strong> and includes a $1000 stipend, travelexpenses, and hotel accommodations.The scholar will offer one public lecture on Jane Austen and will meet withstudents and faculty to d<strong>is</strong>cuss research methods and scholarly interests. Theresidency must be taken during the fall or spring semesters.
