Sand Creek Dairy LLC is currently is milking 1000 cows. The farm<br />
has used AI breeding for over 45 years and the herd average is<br />
currently around 90 pounds. Sand Creek Dairy has strict Bio<br />
Security measures in place to ensure the best possible health and<br />
utilizes a very stringent vaccination program. Johnes control<br />
measures such as isolating adult animals from young stock and<br />
pasteurizing colostrum have been in place for the last 10 years. For<br />
the last several years, the farm has used sexed semen on heifers<br />
and has created extra replacement heifers on the farm.
