On a recent visit to David Heasmans Pylon herd, it was evident to me what a great youngherd this is. The cows show tremendous traits for longevity with really good legs and feetand superbly well attached udders and would be an asset in any herd. The heifers showeven more promise with very dairy frames with strength, and udders that will last formany lactations. There are also several animals with great potential for the show ring forthose show enthusiasts. Some of the families on offer will be very familiar to manybreeders who in the past have managed to secure progeny from them for their ownherds. Pylon animals have always gone on and done well where ever they went and Iwould highly recommend anyone looking to add quality cattle to their herds to attend thissale as these types of animals do not come along onto the open market very often.PD+ Due Date Warranty:I think it is fair to say that over the last twelve months management has been a little moredifficult due to various circumstances and their maybe a few cows which might calve to anearlier service. All the cows have been PD’d to the veterinary surgeons best estimate andto the best of David’s knowledge he has endeavoured to make sure each cow has thecorrect service. We recommend that you check PD due dates with your own vet as soonas possible after the sale and certainly within 7 weeks of the sale (the warranty period).All claims for incorrect due dates must be made within 7 weeks of the sale date. Claimsoutside of the 7 week warranty cannot be considered.6
