Founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Breuningerin the German Bundesland of Mecklenburg, WIBRE initially produced white goods for everyday use. Electrickettles, immersion heaters, toasters, soldering irons and hair driers – our name was already at that time asynonym for technical perfection and innovative spirit. In 1953, the company moved from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to Baden-Wuerttemberg. Relocation went hand in hand with the company’s entry into themarket for lighting technology. The first fountain spotlight and diverse spotlights for shop window lightingleft our production facilities. One thing, however, did not change: we still manufactured our products withpassion for perfection.At the end of the day, it is this quality that matters!
