<strong>THE</strong> CREW<br />

WRITER :: COLLABORATOR<br />

Collaborator, a Seattle based ensemble theater company, created and performed work from 2001-2004. Founded by performance artists Gabriel Baron, Brant Campbell, Michael<br />

McQuilken, Troy Miszklevitz and Rhonda J. Soikowski, the company's mission was to include voices of artists from many backgrounds in the creation of original theater. The company<br />

wrote, produced, and performed two full length theater pieces including Extropia: a musical in a world without music and the non-verbal clown piece, Paper Airplane.<br />

COMPOSER/<strong>MUSIC</strong> DIRECTOR :: MARK_SPARLING<br />

Mark has been involved in music for over 30 years. Early piano and guitar studies led to a love of drums and percussion. A highly decorated classical percussionist and Jazz<br />

drummer, he pursued his music, composition and songwriting aspirations at Berklee College of Music in Boston graduating with honors with a major in Film Composition. Mark is<br />

the drummer for Venice based rock group, Nu Savant, who are about to release their first full-length album and are regular performers The Viper Room, The Troubadour and The<br />

Whisky. Mark has scored several short films since arriving in Los Angeles including Adam for Eve directed by Mark Wales, a featured selection of the 2009 Palm Springs Film<br />

Festival. Mark is currently scoring an upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Godspell. Mark would like to extend a huge thank you to Miho for being the most<br />

inspirational person he’s ever met and to his brother, Dave, for being one of the most supportive, nurturing people on the planet!<br />

COMPOSER/ASSISTANT <strong>MUSIC</strong> DIRECTOR/PIANO :: MIHO_KAJIWARA<br />

Miho was born and raised in Osaka, Japan where she began her child prodigy study of piano at the age of four. She completed the Master Course Bachelor Degree of Music at the<br />

famous Osaka College of Music. She has many concert performances to her credit, most notably a high-profile performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 C minor with the<br />

Osaka Yao Philharmonic Orchestra. Miho is an active piano teacher and plays regularly for many ballet and jazz dance studios in the Los Angeles area. Miho would like to thank<br />

Mark Sparling and her parents in Osaka, Japan.<br />

SAXOPHONE :: STEVE_HORIST<br />

Steve currently writes and arranges big band & combo charts for Cal State University Northridge and Fullerton College, and has received more than $8,000 in scholarship money<br />

for his contributions to the art of music. He has recorded and worked with such artists as Norwood Fisher, Ben Wendel, Bobby Shew, Kim Richmond, GRAMMY-winner Vince Mendoza<br />

& Bruce Babad. He has opened the 2008 NAMM Show, been featured at the Long Beach & Fullerton Jazz Festivals, performed on Telemundo's Buenos Noches & has been a part of<br />

the Stan Kenton All-Star Neophonic Jazz Orchestra.<br />

STAGE DIRECTOR :: KELLEIA_SHEERIN<br />

Kelleia has a professional career spanning 24 years. As a dancer & an actor she works with some of our greatest artists - from Milos Forman to The Coen Brothers, Jeff Bridges to<br />

Robin Williams. Some film credits include: Nine, Dreamgirls, The Big Lebowski, Man On The Moon and as ‘Terpsichore’ in Disney’s Hercules. On Broadway, Kelleia originated the<br />

role of ‘Billy Veruka Wynette’ in Urban Cowboy. On the tele, she was featured as ‘HoopTease’ on Dancing with the Stars. She performs with the professional cabaret groups<br />

Cherry Boom Boom and Harlow Gold. She has a B.A. in Italian from UCLA, is the proudest Auntie of 6 & lives to learn the Tango. To all the people who supported, donated &<br />

cheered us on… Thank You!! And a serious soul rendering thanks to the cast and crew.<br />

MULTIMEDIA DIRECTOR:: ADRIAN_SELKOWITZ<br />

An award-winning indie-filmmaker with a degree in cinematography and directing from NYU, Adrian directed +1 which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year as well as<br />

Sex, Drugs, Guns which is touring the film festival circuit currently. Adrian is in development on his second feature film, a story of an American youth set in his home state of<br />

Pennsylvania.<br />

CHOREOGRAPHER :: KATIE_MILLER<br />

Katie has performed all over the globe on tv, commercials, award shows, theater, and film. A few of the artists include Liza Minelli, eline Dion, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez,<br />

Usher, Courtney Love, Prince and Latin superstar, Chayanne. She has worked on such movies as Walk Hard, Fired Up and Year One. They built the role of "Baby Spice" on her for<br />

the Spice Girls reunion tour. She has done choreography for the wii commercials, Build Guitar & High School Musical. Katie is also in the burlesque dance group, Cherry Boom<br />

Boom and currently teaches around the country for Hollywood Connection Dance Convention.<br />

LIGHTING DESIGNER :: CAMERON_DUNCAN<br />

Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Cameron discovered his passion for photography and lighting as a kid flipping through the pages of National Geographic<br />

magazines. In 2007 he was awarded the prestigious International Cinematographers Guild's Emerging Cinematographer Award for his work on the short film, Year of the Dog.<br />

Cameron has been shooting a variety of projects from feature films to documentaries for the past ten years. He strives to bring an energetic and motivating vision to every project<br />

he collaborates on. Extropia is his first venture into lighting for the stage. “There is an amazing energy when lighting for theater, as opposed to the camera. You can always make<br />

MARKETING, DESIGN :: TONY_SHANKS<br />

Tony has started two independent theatre companies, a live music production company and a new media marketing firm that have taken him from Oklahoma to Dallas, from New<br />

York City to Los Angeles. He has produced productions of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Hair, A Chorus Line, as well as producing and directing This is our Youth, Suburbia, Naked<br />

Theatre, The Drinking Game and Bodies, Rest And Motion for the stage.
