For some, war is a memory that haunts their dreams andforever casts a shadow over their lives. It is a nightmarethat never goes away — a reality that has left scars thatwill never heal.For them, war has taken far more from their lives than anydisease or age ever will. The people most affected by warsare our veterans, and they are the reason for our freedom.Only those who have lived it, truly know what war is like.We can thank them, remember them, shed tears for them,but we will never truly understand what a veteran feels orhow it has affected them.All we can do is offer our hand in thanks, give ourappreciation and respect, show them we care, and let themknow that we have not, nor will we ever let their memoryor all their sacrifices go unforgotten.We thank you veterans — We will remember!Bruce Sharpe
