Your art must be submitted on aCD and should be saved as either ahigh-resolution JPG, EPS, TIF or PDF.IMPORTANT: ALL ART MUST BECREATED & SUBMITTED AT 300 D.P.I.The mission of Embracing Our Differences ® is to useart as a catalyst for creating awareness and promoting,throughout our community, the value of diversity, thebenefits of inclusion and the significance of the activerejection of hatred and prejudice.Embracing Our Differences ® 2011, the 8th annualoutdoor art exhibit, will contain 39 billboard-sized (16feet wide by 12 feet high) original works of art, eachaccompanied by an inspirational quote.The exhibit will be displayed from the end of Aprilcontinuing throughout the month of May, 2011 at IslandPark along Sarasota, Florida’s beautiful bay front.Since 2004, Embracing Our Differences ® has beenviewed by more than 850,000 visitors. During thesame period, 75,000 students and teachers attendedthe exhibit – free of charge thanks to our School BusProgram – for a firsthand observation and discussionconcerning the importance of diversity in our lives.After viewing the exhibit, one 8-year old studentpoignantly commented, “I learned that everyone is goingto be someone.”We invite you to participate in creating a society that ismore inclusive for all.
