Welcome
This year we are delighted to present an even stronger
collection of sport stallions. All of our stallions have been out
performing in 2010. One of our yonger stallions Bonaparte
Z started the year in grand style by winning the Belgian
championship for 4-year-old sires. He finished the year even
grander by winning the Danish championship for 4-year-olds
with a score of 9.0 and the judges’ comment “An exceptional
horse in a class of his own”.
Also Cannavaros returned from Germany after a busy season in
Holstein. During springtime he won several young horse classes
and finished 4th in the Danish championship for 4-year-olds.
Our star Cosmeo continues on where many would have
given up and during the summer 2010 he proved once again
that he is a stallion, who can go all the way. In Falsterbo
and Zangersheide he performed as a world class horse and he
finished off the season by winning the Danish championship for
the second time in his short career.
Cortado gave Andreas an experience very few riders will ever live
to have when the stallion jumped four superior clear rounds and
made sure that Andreas could hang a FEI bronze medal around
his neck at the World Championships in Zangersheide.
Our absolute star stallion Uno’s Safier is in this year’s collection.
He was on the team who won the Nations Cup at the five* CSIO
in Barcelona, thereby ensuring Denmark a spot in the Super
League. This means that Uno’s Safier will have an unusually busy
season in the international show jumping circuit and, therefore,
he will only be available on frozen semen.
At the stallion performance test in 2010 Schou & Skouboe were
represented by Toulouse and Casilius. They both did very well,
finishing 1st and 2nd with a score of 892 and 852 respectively.
New in this year’s collection is the Grand Prix sire Vivaldi K. A
C-Indoctro son who won his first international Grand Prix at
the tender age of 8 years.
As the newcomer to the collection this season we have Stakkato
Dream. A 5-year-old stallion bought at the PSI Auction in
2010 by our business partner Haregabgård by the Hallundbæk
family. He is by the star sire Stakkato Gold and with the strong
sire Drosselklang II on his mother’s side. In 2011 he won his
performance test with a score of no less than 917. A top class
stallion with the capacity to go all the way.
The Danish dressage breeding is so successful that we have
learned that only a stallion of the most outstanding standards
can do. That is why we have procured a world class stallion.
Shooting Star by top stallion Sir Donnerhall will be available
at Schou & Skouboe stallion station in 2010. Shooting Star
was a premium stallion at his licensing in 2009 and he won his
performance test in 2010 scoring a dressage index of 143.32. A
stallion that we believe will fulfill the expectations and hopes
for a young star stallion.
In 2010 we were delighted to share lots of wonderful experiences
with the breeders who made use of our stallions and see
them achieve grand results. As a stallion station where sport and
breeding is paramount it is amazing to see a Cosmeo daughter
becoming the 2-year-old jumping filly of the year.
