The current charge is NZ$46 incl GST. We reserve the right to change this rate at anytime.The ACFR fee will apply for each airport and ferry terminal pick-ups.The Airport Concession Fee Recovery/Ferry Terminal Fee Recovery is included in our Airport/Ferry<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Car Rental Rates.TaxesOur rates include GST of 15%.Credit CardsPayment made to <strong>Apollo</strong> at time of booking:<strong>Apollo</strong> only accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Visa and MasterCard willincur an additional 2% surcharge on any transaction. American Express and Diners Club will incuran additional 4.5% surcharge on any transaction.Payment made to Hertz at pick-up:Hertz accept all major credit cards. All credit card payments will incur an additional fee of 1.99%.Exchange Rate / Currency VariationsAll credit card transactions are conducted in <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> dollars. Due to exchange ratefluctuations there could be some variance in the amount refunded compared to the amount initiallycharged. We do not accept any liability for variances up or down. Refunds by credit card can takeup to 15 working days, depending on the renter’s Financial Institution.Rental DurationThe minimum rental for all vehicles is one day aside from one way rentals which are three days.One Way RentalsNo one way fee for minimum 3 day rentals.Driver’s Licence and Minimum AgeA current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required. If the driver’s licence is not in theEnglish language then an international driver’s licence is also recommended. An accredited Englishtranslation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. The driver’s licence musthave been held for at least two years and be valid for the whole length of the rental. The originaldriver’s licence must be shown at time of pick-up when the driver is present.


Version 2 as at 11/02/2013No ShowsWhere a client does not pick-up their rental vehicle at the date and time confirmed on thereservation, <strong>Apollo</strong> reserves the right to charge a No Show Fee equal to the cost of one rental dayas per the reservation. Exceptions to this charge will apply for those reservations that have beencancelled at least 48 hours prior to pick-up date; as well as having some form of documentationconfirming cancellation.Payment to Confirm BookingAt time of booking a deposit of $1 is required and balance is due 7-days prior to pick-up. However therenter is responsible up to the amount of the applicable Liability for the cost of such damage tothird party property, or to the rented Vehicle. The renter is also responsible for the cost ofdemurrage for the period the Vehicle is unavailable due to repairs. The Liability applies in respectof each claim, not per rental.Third Party Liability claims are limited to $10 million and cover property damage (including anyanimal).The Liability is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident isreported to the rental company, not at the completion of the rental Period. The rental companyreserves the right to charge the renter for any vehicle damage including Third Party propertydamage not reported on return of the vehicle.Standard Liability<strong>Apollo</strong>’s rental charge includes a Standard Liability of $2,000.The Standard Liability can be reduced by taking the following Reduction Option:Liability Reduction OptionA Liability of $2,000 applies. The Liability Reduction Option (AER) can be purchased by paying $20per day at pick-up, to reduce the liability to NIL.Bond/DepositA Bond/Deposit of $400 will be collected at the time of entering into the Rental Contract.For security purposes, only a credit card can be used to provide a Bond/Deposit. Sufficient fundsmust be available on the credit card to cover the Bond/Deposit.The credit card holder must be present and able to sign for the Bond upon vehicle collection. Thecredit card holder is jointly and severally liable for any damage to the rental vehicle.Rates/Terms/ConditionsAre subject to change without notice.
