Black and minority ethnic (BME) groups have used<br />

photography, film and personal mementos to<br />

encapsulate experiences. Exhibits include a video<br />

installation from international students at<br />

Heriot-Watt University, photography and<br />

mementos about caring and journeys, through<br />

to photography and artwork from BME men,<br />

examining stress, isolation and racism.<br />

Oor Mad History is a unique community project<br />

promoting the history of the mental health service<br />

user movement in Lothian. Together with service<br />

user groups and volunteers we are building a<br />

fascinating oral history and paper based archive.<br />

Join us as we launch our book about the project<br />

and look at our exhibition which draws on voices<br />

and images from the archive. Come along and<br />

generated art, banners and 3D installations.<br />

Produced by students from Outlook, which is<br />

an adult education project for people living in<br />

Edinburgh who access mental health services.<br />

This exhibition illustrates personal experiences<br />

and how it feels to live with mental health<br />

difficulties.<br />
