Incoming airis routed through a labyrinth of passages that trap anddrain water before it enters the engine’s intake, formaximum reliability.V MAX SHO outboards have an exhaust pressurereduction system, which not only helps keep the propellerhub cooled from hot exhaust gases, it also helps providepower by “forcing” those gases out of the engine during thecritical hole shot and acceleration phases.CLEANER FUELRELIABILITY AND EFFICIENCYAll V MAX SHO outboards utilize a large, on-engine waterseparating fuel filter with a water sensor.
