IMPORTANT GROUP BENEFIT CHANGES

Our group benefits provider, Manulife Financial, has moved our benefits plan
to their enhanced claims and administration system effective September 13.
This move provides you with access to new online services, such as online
claim submission and electronic claim statements. These online service
enhancements will enable you to avoid unnecessary mail delays and receive
your health and dental claim payments faster than ever. At the same time,
Manulife Financial will also change the plan contract number used to identify
our group benefits plan.
Employees previously registered for Manulife’s plan member internet site can
simply log in using the new policy number and current password. Employees
who were not previously registered for this service have been pre-registered
and should receive information regarding this shortly.
If you have not received communication from Manulife Financial regarding this
important change to your group benefits, please contact Human Resources to
confirm your home address.
CONVERSION TO BI-WEEKLY PAY

We would like to take this opportunity to remind those affected that more than
1,000 IMP Aerospace & Defence employees will be converting to a bi-weekly
pay system this fall. The last weekly payroll for the period October 14th through
to October 20th, 2012 will be paid as normal on October 25th. The first
bi-weekly payroll will cover hours and wages submitted for the period October
21st to November 3rd and paid to employees on November 8th.
All deductions from an individual’s pay that would happen four times a month
will happen twice a month after the conversion. This includes RRSP contributions,
Group insurance and income tax (which will be deducted based on the Canada
Revenue Agency’s requirements for the balance of the 2012 taxation year).
A dedicated email address (biweekly@impaerospace.com) has been
established to receive any employee questions. As well, there will be Q&A and
helpful tip links coming soon to myIMP.
