Information for ContributorsCancer Forum welcomes original articles concerning medical,scientific, political, social, educational or administrative aspects ofcancer control. The policy of Cancer Forum is to provide anavenue for communication between all those involved in the fightagainst cancer, and especially to promote contact acrossdisciplinary barriers. To this end articles should be comprehensibleto as wide a section of the readership as possible.Manuscripts may be submitted on disk in Word format or byemail to lawrie.wright@cancer.org.au, with a double-spacedprinted copy. Descriptive sub-headings should be employed toindicate the content of the text. Authors should be conscious of thewide readership of Cancer Forum and provide sufficientintroductory material to place their article in context for thoseoutside their field of specialisation. In addition, articles must includean abstract, which will be published, to facilitate indexing in theAustralasian Medical Index of the National Library of Australia.Photographs and line drawings should be submitted on disk, viaemail, or as transparencies or high quality prints.References, if used, should be numbered consecutively in the orderin which they are first mentioned, and listed in the following style:author (initial then surname), title of article, journal, volume, year,and inclusive page numbers.Short articles may be submitted as “Letters to the Editor”.Editorials for Cancer Forum are normally invited but theeditors welcome suggestions for subject matter to beconsidered in this way.Cancer Forum is pleased to publish details of forthcomingconferences and symposia in Australia and overseas which arerelated to the subject matter of the journal.
