He is 33 years old. Capt Deweverwas born in Ghent, Belgium, on 18 August1976. He graduated from James Bowie HighSchool in Austin, Texas in 1994 and workedas an independent contractor for the AustinAmerican Statesman newspaper until March1996 when he enlisted in the Air Force.After completing Basic Military Training in1996 at Lackland AFB, Texas, Capt Deweverbegan technical training as a Persian-Farsi Cryptologic Linguistat the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and atGoodfellow AFB, Texas, graduating in July 1997. He was subsequentlyassigned to Fort Gordon Army Installation, Georgia. During his timeat Ft Gordon, he quickly excelled at his job, becoming the shift LeadLinguist and spending his last year as the Lead Persian-Farsi Trainer.He was the Distinguished Graduate at Airman Leadership Schooland attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his time there, hewas very active in base organizations, to include Color Guard FlightChief and the Unit Advisory Council President. After obtaining afour-year degree, he applied and was selected for Officer TrainingSchool in 2001 and earned the OTS General Chappie James award.After completing OTS, he became an Acquisitions Officer andwas stationed at Detachment 11, Peterson AFB, Colorado. He wasa Program Manager on Terrestrial Systems under the DefenseMeteorological Satellite Program for two years and the Lead ProgramManager on the Range Network Systems under the Air Force SatelliteCommunications Network. He volunteered for deployment toIraq, and served four months as an Embedded HUMINT Analystand Operator in Baghdad, Iraq. In 2005, he PCS’d to Gunter AFB,Alabama, where he was assigned as the Operations Chief for theAutomated Civil Engineering System, leading 68 personnel insoftware development for the eight module program. For the secondhalf of his Gunter assignment, he was assigned as the Branch Chiefof the Force Projection Logistics Systems, leading 48 personnel andfour programs. He volunteered for a tasking to Afghanistan, andled Operation AFGHAN EYE, teaming with Joint Forces Commandpersonnel to install Unmanned Aerial Vehicle equipment at various82nd Airborne installations. In 2009, Capt Dewever was 1 of 7 AirForce ALEET selectees, and subsequently left for Fairchild AFB.As the AMU OIC, Capt Dewever leads over 300 maintainers in therepair of 35 KC-135s valued at $1.8B, and has been heavily involvedin numerous Organizational Readiness Inspection and LogisticsStandardization/Evaluation Program preparations and inspections.He also volunteered for a 141-day deployment to the Manas TransitCenter, where he led 133 maintenance personnel in the generationof over one thousand missions and in setting numerous base recordsduring his tenure.Capt Dewever is actively involved in the Company Grade OfficerCouncil, his church, and the base scouting program. In addition,he volunteered over 100 hours during his free time while deployed,to include several orphanage, the Officer Council, and Kyrgyzveteran initiatives.Capt Dewever has been a key member of the Fairchild Total ForceIntegration effort with the 141st Air Refueling Wing (Air National Guard).His major accomplishments include the Meritorious Service Medal, JointService Commendation Medal, two Air Force Commendation Medals,two Joint Service Achievement Medals, two Air Force AchievementMedals, and was also the 92nd Air Refueling Wing’s nominee for theAMC Lieutenant General Leo Marquez Maintenance Award and theAMC Lieutenant General Lew Allen Award.Captain Steven N. LambCaptain Steven N. Lamb is the Operations Officer with the 1stSpecial Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron at Hurlburt Field,Florida. Captain Lamb was born in Des Plaines,Illinois on 3 September 1974. He graduatedfrom Prospect High School in 1992, wherehe enlisted in the Air Force and departed forbasic training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Upongraduation, he was an airman basic assignedto the 15th Security Police Squadron, HickamAFB, Hawaii.He was handpicked as a member of thePacific Air Forces Command Elite Guard where he protected thecommand’s key leadership and security vaults. He transitionedfrom active duty to the Air National Guard where for six years heperformed security specialist duties and taught Urban Warfare,Special Weapons and Tactics, and Desert Warfare to the unit’s 50-plus security policeman.In 2000, he graduated from the University of Southern Mississippiwith a bachelors of science in biological and forensics sciencesand was also commissioned as a second lieutenant from OfficerTraining School. His first officer assignment was the 5th LogisticsSupport Squadron, Minot AFB, North Dakota. He was transferred tothe 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy wherehe served as Assistant Vehicle Management Commander for 1,880vehicles in 5 countries valued at $132 million, and CommanderFuels Management Flight issuing more than 42 million gallons offuel in a year to include support to Operation JOINT FORGE.While at the Logistics Readiness Squadron, his leadership helpedgarner a DoD AT/FP Award, 2003 Daedalian Runner-Up Award, BestNATO Operational Evaluation in 3.5 years, Best USAFE NSI to-date,AF ’04 Installation Excellence Award small unit, Best LRS in USAFE’04, Best Fuels Management Flight in USAFE ’04 and ’05 and runnerupfor USAF in ’04, and multiple Outstanding and Excellent ratings.In 2005, he received orders to Hurlburt Field Florida.During his tenure at Hurlburt Field, he served as Chief LogisticsDivision for AFSOC’s Number Air Force Component, Chief CommandDeployments for AFSOC, Executive Officer A4 Directorate, andOperations Officer 1st Special Operations Logistics ReadinessSquadron. Morris, Jr.Captain Allen C. Morris, Jr. is the Squadron Weapons Officer andChief of Tactics assigned to the 517th <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron, ElmendorfAFB, Alaska. He is a 30 year old native of St.Louis, Missouri and graduate of MehlvilleSenior High School where he was Captain andthree-time letterman on the ice hockey team.Post graduation in 1998, Captain Morris wasaccepted to St. Louis University as an AviationScience major in the school’s ProfessionalPilot Program. Captain Morris’ excellentscholastic and sports achievements earned hima scholarship from the Daedalien Foundation and inspired him topursue an AFROTC scholarship at AFROTC Detachment 207, as wellas membership in the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Captain Morrisgraduated Cum Laude from St. Louis University in 2002, headingoff to the USAF and Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training atLaughlin AFB, TX later that year.After completing SUPT in Class 03-15, Captain Morris wasassigned to C-17A Globemaster IIIs and the 8th <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron atMcChord AFB, WA in 2004. In June of the same year, Capt Morrismarried the former Suzanne Wright, a USAF officer, ICU Nurse andhis college sweetheart. In 2007 Captain Morris was assigned to the517th <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron as Initial Cadre for the C-17A Globemaster IIIbed-down at Elmendorf AFB. Most recently, he completed the USAFC-17A Weapons Instructor Course 09-B, returning to the 517th asthe Chief of Tactics and Weapons Officer. Captain Morris has earnednumerous accolades and honors for his efforts to stand-up “Arctic<strong>Airlift</strong>” C-17A operations at the USAF’s only five MWS base, includingthe “Warrior of the Year” Award for the 517th <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron. Hisdecorations include the Air Medal, Air Force Commendation Medaland the Air Force Achievement Medal.Captain James C. O’Brien IIICaptain James C. O’Brien III was commissioned in the AirForce in 2000 after graduating from the United States Air ForceAcademy with a Bachelor of Science Degree inManagement. He attended Undergraduate PilotTraining at Laughlin Air Force Base, TX andthen transferred to Naval Air Station CorpusChristi where he received his pilot wings inAugust 2002. His first flying assignment waswith Tennessee Air National Guard’s 105th<strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron. While with the 105th, hedeployed two times in support of OverseasContingency Operations. Captain O’Brien was then assigned to the61st <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base in October 2005,where he served as the Assistant Chief of Flight Training, Pilot FlightCommander, and Chief of Standardization and Evaluation.While assigned to the 61st, he deployed two times in support ofOperations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM amassing728 combat hours. Captain O’Brien also served as the Deputy Chiefof Air Mobility Division Tactics in the CENTCOM AOR Combined AirOperations Center. His outstanding performance led to his selectionto instruct at the C-130J Formal Training Unit (FTU). Captain O’Brienis currently assigned to the 48th <strong>Airlift</strong> Squadron as the Chief ofSquadron Plans.
