F-1 Rules andRegulationsFederal regulations require that you notify /report to the IRSCInternational Student Office any of the following:• Extension of I-20: Do not let your I-20 expire. If you need an extensionon the I-20, You should contact us in a timely manner before theexpiration date. If your I-20 expires, you will be out of the F-1 studentstatus. It is your responsibility to check the I-20 form.• F-1 Visa : If your F-1 Student Visa expires while you are in the UnitedStates, you may remain in the U.S. as long as you are in valid F-1 studentstatus; you should update the visa the next time you travel to yourhome country.• Updates: Notify us of any address, phone or email changes; and/or yourdependent(s) changes
