The memorial is locatedbehind the Comm<strong>and</strong>ing General’s Residence.Vietnam MemorialWright MemorialThe 10th Field Signal Battalion organized at Fort Monmouth, thencalled Camp Alfred Vail, on July 10, 1917. The Battalion was assignedto the 7th Division on December 6, 1917 <strong>and</strong> departed from this installationon August 17, 1918. It saw front line action in France fromOctober 8 to November 11, <strong>and</strong> had its colors decorated byGEN John J. Pershing.7/8 .
