The casing is suitable for all types of cookedsausage and is equally ideal as a packaging for food and meat products. The multilayer, biaxiallyoriented and heat-shrinking casing is available either transparent or pigmented with anattractive selection of colours. Good meat cling properties, a wide temperature resistancerange, chemical and dimensional stability ensure troublefree processing. Walsroder K flex istherefore just as suitable for manual sausage-making as it is for automatic sausage production– including on double-clipping equipment. The polymer casing is neutral in terms ofboth taste and odour.It goes without saying that the casings are physiologically harmless as defined in the GermanFood and Consumer Goods Act. The plastics used – polyamide (nylon) and polyolefine –comply with the recommendation of the German Federal Institute of Consumer HealthProtection and Veterinary Medicine.
