OurMessageto YouGiving OpportunitiesThe community supports Livingston for variousreasons. For many, providing home healthcare forthe sick, handicapped, elderly and homebound resonateswith their own values and so they support our mission. They believe, as do we, that taking care of the underinsuredand uninsured regardless of their ability to pay makes VenturaCounty a kinder and more caring place to live. Many of our foundation and government funders areinterested in insuring certain disadvantaged types of peopleor residents within a specific city. For example, we partnerwith the cities of Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, andWestlake Village to make sure their citizens get the vitalcare they need to live healthy lives. The Women’s Legacyfund insures there are funds to care for indigent womenthroughout Ventura County.Livingston events are no exception; they too providesupporters with personally fulfilling opportunities to give. Our 5th Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon, see next page fordetails, offers many options to support Livingston. Somepeople will give in recognition of the honorees. Some willgive because they like being a part of the Livingston socialcommunity.
