Slow Down. Save Lives.These 12 students recently won the 2008-2009Illinois Work Zone Safety Calendar Contest. Over2,400 participated in this contest by drawing theirview of a work zone.IDOT, along with the Illinois State Board ofEducation (ISBE), American Traffic Safety ServicesFoundation (ATSSF) and the Illinois Chapter of theAmerican Traffic Safety Services Association(ATSSA), coordinated this statewide calendarcontest for elementary students.
