Overview●●●Both Kerberos and LDAP are commonly used forauthentication in distributed computing systems.While there's generally some overlap in the set ofentities for whom authentication data ismaintained, Kerberos servers and LDAP serverstend to be maintained separately.It's desirable to unify the two systems to minimizeduplication of data, administrative overhead, anddevelopment/design effort.
