Gillam Farms, located an hour northeast of Central
Arkansas, produces a wide variety of fruits and
vegetables including asparagus, blueberries,
blackberries, grapes, muscadines, purple hull peas,
sweet potatoes and pumpkins.On the property
is Fruit of the Vine, a store where fresh produce is
sold during season. The store also carries juices,
fruits, jams and jellies, pickled items, syrups, honey,
molasses and more. Gift items are also available.
Each October, the Farm hosts school field trips, and
for a small fee students may take a wagon tour, play
in a hay maze and bring home a pumpkin of their
own. Tours are also open to the public on weekends.
During the Christmas holidays, the store has gift
baskets filled with items from the Farm store that
may be purchased and carried home or shipped
anywhere in the U.S. Hours: Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m..

Located in the Historic South Main District, the Memphis
Farmers’ Market is an outdoor market featuring local
farmers. The market showcases locally grown produce
and related food items from the Mid-South region
and serves to educate the community about food
choices. Buying directly from the growers allows the
shoppers to ask questions and get answers from the
source. There’s plenty of free parking, shopping and
entertainment under a shaded canopy with benches
for relaxing and listening to live music. It also features
cooking, plant and nutrition education demonstrations.

Tom Johnson loves to open the 540-acre Tom’s
farm that has been in his family for generations, offering
families and groups a great place for wholesome
entertainment.
Springtime is a great time to visit the farm for
Easter egg hunts, hayrides or a bonfire to roast some
hotdogs. Tom’s Farm has customers that drive over 100
miles to buy the best tasting “sweet corn.” The corn is
available mid-June through mid-July. Also available are
cucumbers, tomatoes, cantaloupes and watermelons.
Be sure and visit the farm this fall, you won’t believe
your eyes when you see the thousands of pumpkins that
are ready for picking. Stop by and see the animals, corn
maize, playground and more. Don’t miss the Pumpkin
Patch open to the public daily during October. The
farm is handicap accessible. Field trips are booked by

Kidz Kountry is 67 rolling acres of farmland fun

Fall Family Day in November includes a Big
Bonfire, Hayride all around the farm, finding your way
out of a Huge Hay Maze, Roasting marshmallows or

Private trail riding lessons are available all year
