Following its breathtaking and successful show in 2011, Compagnie<br />
Retouramont returns to <strong>Oxford</strong> with a UK premiere. Danse des Cariatides is a<br />
visually stunning and multi-layered performance, performed by 6 dancers,<br />
fusing aerial dance, sound score and projection. With the walls of <strong>Oxford</strong><br />
Castle as a stunning backdrop, this free outdoor spectacular event is not to<br />
be missed.<br />
Watch out for some special dance performances (including an exciting<br />
interactive digital dance installation) happening in Malmaison (Atrium,<br />
Empty Cell and Visitors Room Bar) over both days (more details at<br />

Following the very successful visit to Burton Taylor last year, Between<br />
returns for one evening only. The dancer approaches and embeds<br />
herself within her audience. Meanwhile, another performer is absorbed<br />
in subtle gestures preparing for what is to come… Choreographer Angela<br />
Woodhouse and Jerwood award-winning artist Caroline Broadhead bring<br />
this stunning performance installation to the BT.<br />

This one-day symposium brings together dance practitioners, academics<br />
and professionals from different fi elds to gain an insight into movement<br />
in, through and around space. The day will contain a practical workshop<br />
as well as papers, time for discussion and a unique opportunity to explore<br />
the spaces around us both physically and mentally...<br />
