Creative Dough1 cup flour2 teaspoons cream of tartar1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup water1 tablespoon vegetable oil1 teaspoon vanilla, optional15 drops of food coloring, your choice of colorCook all ingredients in a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, stirring real harduntil mixture forms a ball. About 4 mins. Remove from pan and let sit for aboutfive mins. Knead briefly and the dough is ready to use. Store in airtight containerin refrigerator. Heat, stirring constantly until ball forms. Kneaduntil smooth.Koolaid Playdough1/2 cup salt2 cups water2 tablespoons salad oil2 cups flour2 tablespoons alumKoolaid (without sugar) for colorBoil salt in water until salt is dissolved.
