2013 SEXUAL ASSAULT FORENSIC EXAMINER TRAINING COURSEAbout the CourseThis 40-hour intensive training course will providelicensed health care professionals, who areinterested in practicing as Sexual Assault ForensicExaminers (SAFE/SANE), the training to enhanceor establish the knowledge, skills, and attitudesnecessary to conduct a basic evidentiaryexamination for adolescent and adult victims ofsexual assault. Each participant will receive an indepthorientation to physical, emotional and socialreactions to sexual assault. Participant will have theopportunity via anatomical models to collectevidence during a skills session midweek of thecourse.
