FOCUS ON MarathonThanks to all for an amazingThousand’s of people crossed the finish line at thisyear’s Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon race dayand raised vital funds for Cancer Focus, the officialcharity. Hundreds more of our volunteers lined therace route to cheer on the runners and walkers ormanned water stations.“We’ve been overwhelmed by the huge support andgood will we’ve received and would like to send outa big thank you to everyone who was involved” saidJoyce Savage, Head of Appeals and Marketing.“Thank you, too, to those who shared inspirationalstories of their own cancer journey (which you canread on the marathon section of www.cancerfocusni.org) to help highlight our work, and to the numerouscompanies that lent their support in kind.“The whole event was a tremendous success. Luckilythe weather stayed dry and the buzz and atmospherewere electric.
