The opportunity for this collaboration is the reasonwhy we are acquiring the unit Gasunie Engineering & Technology(GET). The activities of GET will be combined with KEMA’s gasactivities, enabling us to continue our development into a majorglobal gas and electricity service provider.Tomorrow’s energy supply offers a role to play for differing energysources that work together in mutual correlation, requiring ajoining of forces in consultancy and research & development. Thelink between electricity and gas will intensify, for instance, in thearea of sustainable energy. GET employs a staff of approximately90, and combines special laboratory facilities with extensiveexperience in gas technology. Besides consultancy, engineeringservices and research & development, GET’s expertise extends tothe performance of tests, measurements, analyses and studies.comments Pieter Trienekens, member of the Executive Board ofGasunie. “The best way to do this is through the combination ofGET and KEMA activities, allowing GET to join their extensiveinternational network.
