A simple hexagon key is the only tool requiredto give a strong rigid joint. The socket set screw is the heart of theKee Klamp ® . These set screws which firmly lock the fitting to thetube are manufactured in case hardened steel and are protectedwith KeeKoat ® our proprietary corrosion-resistant coating.Alternatively, stainless steel screws are available. Kee Klamp ®sizes 5 to 9 can support an axial load of 900kgs per set screwincluding a 2:1 factor of safety providing they are tightened to arecommended torque of 39Nm.Kee Klamp ® structures provide a versatile and rigid tubularconstruction used throughout the world for a wide range ofapplications. Quick and simple to erect, Kee Klamp ® requires nospecial tools or skills, readily available tubing is used and thepositive locking of Kee Klamp ® fittings ensures strong, quicklymadejoints that facilitate easy dismantling and rebuilding asrequired. There are more than 300 models available which havebeen developed over 50 years to meet a wide range of structuralapplications.Safety Barrier Components are also available in Kee Lite ® ,our aluminium range of fittings.Tube SizesKee Klamp ® components are produced in a range of sizes tosuit steel tubing to BS EN 10255 (ISO 65) medium and heavygauges and 17.5mm to 60.3mm outside diameter. Tubemanufactured to other specifications can be used providing thesteel is compatible with BS EN 10255 (ISO 65) and the wallthickness is not less than 3.2mm.
