7. EXCLUSION OF APPEALIn accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996 there is no restriction on theparties to exclude the right of appeal. An agreement to arbitrate underLMAA Small Claims Procedure will automatically be treated as anagreement to exclude the right of appeal.8. DISCRETIONIt is expected that in the great majority of cases the strict timetable andprovisions of the Procedure will be observed and enforced, but inexceptional cases there is discretion for the arbitrator to vary or departfrom them.
