Round Square Schools’ns Adventure Race RRRsc16 girls competing for just 6 places. The selection process was rigorous withThis May saw a group of six Westfield girls competing in the 6th annual RoundSquare Schools’ Adventure Race. There was more competition than ever withthe girls being marked on their fitness levels, climbing ability, map readingand navigation skills, canoeing and general knowledge.The successful girls were:Ruth Henderson, Karlamay Christensen, Elena Campbell,Emma Briggs, Lydia Hogg and Sarah Makepeace.This year the competition took place in the Cairngorms andfrom Friday night until Sunday evening the girls workedtirelessly for one common goal - to bring back the Girls’Competition Trophy which they did. CONGRATULATIONS!SkiTripDuring the Easter holidays a group of girls travelled to Axamir Lizum in Austria.They enjoyed the skiing and swimming and excelled at the talent show.Congratulations to Alice Leech who won the “Most Improved Skier” award.5
