Board Reports and RequestsMrs. Duncan asked Dr. Hargens if any consideration is being given to revising the legislativeagenda in support of restoring the safe schools funding that has been cut.Hargens: “We’ll be happy to bring back the legislative agenda to see if the Board wants to makeany additions.”Mrs. Duncan requested achievement data disaggregated by the nine groups that are tracked.IX.Persons Requesting to Address the Board on Non-Agenda ItemsMr. Timothy Paul addressed the Board of Education on the topic of minority contractors. ChairPorter requested that Dr. Hargens work to get additional information on this issue and share thatinformation with the Board.Ms. Shannon Mahaffey addressed the Board of Education concerning testing for learningdisabilities. Chair Porter asked that Dr. Hargens follow up on this issue.X.
