Cooke PanchroI Lenses“Mini S4 ’s ”The PanchroI by Cooke lenses are a brand new design that incorporateeverything today’s filmmakers ask for: smaller, lighter-weight lenses that offerthe same resolution, optical quality and reliability as the S4I lenses, but ata lower price. And, they are interchangeable for shooting film and digitalimages up to and beyond a 4K resolution.PanchroI by Cooke Prime Lenses are designed and developed in closetechnical collaboration with industry professionals. They are colourmatchedand compatible with Cooke S4I, 5I, CXX 15-40 mm T2 S4IZoom, 18-100mm T3.0, 25-250mm T3.7 and the SK4 16mm lenses.PanchroI optics offer superb optical and mechanical performance,control of flare, distortion, veiling glare and spherical aberrations atfull aperture. The cam-type focus mechanism allows for smooth focusadjustments. Modular construction increases ease of maintenanceand serviceability. Cooke’s I Technology provides cinematographersand camera operators with vital information on lens setting, focusingdistance, aperture and depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, serialnumber, owner data, lens type and focal length in both metric andfootage measurements. All the information is captured downstream foruse in post-production.
